The Ruffle Top Crochet Tutorial š¼š§µ
Materials Needed:
- 500g of yarn (medium weight)
- 4mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Measuring tape
Pattern:
- Foundation Chain: Chain 82 (or desired length for the body)
- Row 1: Single crochet (sc) in 2nd chain from hook, sc in each chain across. (81 sc)
- Row 2-5: Chain 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
- Row 6 (Ruffle Start): Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), 2 double crochet (dc) in next sc, dc in next sc repeat from * to * across. (243 dc)
- Row 7-10 (Ruffle): Chain 3, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc repeat from * to * across.
- Row 11-15: Chain 3, dc in each dc across.
- Sleeves: Chain 40 (or desired length for sleeve), join to the body at the armhole, sc in each dc across the body, join another chain 40 for the second sleeve.
- Edging: Sc around the neckline, armholes, and bottom hem.
Assembly:
- Sew the sleeves to the body.
